Woah. It's been a long time since the last blog post. Between that time and now, nothing much happened. School started, read previous post for my thoughts on school starting, and I've watch two movies. Avengers and Dark Shadows.

Avengers.

LOVED IT. I know everyone is saying it's awesome and that's a little off putting for you hipsters but watch it because, FUCK, IT'S AWESOME. What's there not to like? Hot, charismatic superheros fighting a incredibly hot, charismatic villain. It's well written, with witty and funny dialogue. Acting was good, Robert Downey Jr was so like-able as iron man, I especially liked the fact that he treated Bruce Banner like his best friend right from the start. It has almost no romance at all, except for that moment between with Black Widow and Hawk-eye and Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, but that's about it. Which is always a plus. The action at the end was amazing. I actually like the Hulk in this movie, I hated 'The Incredible Hulk' version, mostly I hated the way Hulk mindlessly smashed stuff, I mean, it's fun to watch that but he should at least have a certain amount of intelligence left. And Loki. HE'S SO PERFECT IT HURTS. I absolutely LOVE both Loki and Tom Hiddleston. LOVE, you hear me? LOVE. Just as much as I love Lexxi and Taylor so that's saying something. When I was watching the movie and Loki was being so evil-ly badass and obviously hurt by his family, I just want to reach out and hug him. Tom Hiddleston also give the best interviews. He is hilarious and somehow can talk dirty while sounding polite, I don't even know what to feel.

5/5 stars because of the hot cast. Yes, including Scarlet Johansson because she is HOT.

Dark Shadows.

Before watching this film, I've heard bad reviews about it, so I was going in with lowered standards. But it was a Tim Burton film, so I knew it wouldn't be THAT bad. Except for his 'Planet of the Apes', I didn't like that movie. Even if the main plot is stupid, it'll win me over with weirdness and humor. Also, ChloĆ« Moretz is so pretty. The plot was kind of stupid, but it was pretty funny. Granted, it was the typical 'man experiencing the this world for the first time.' kind of humor which is not that uncommon (Think 'Thor') But I enjoyed it anyways. The eerie, Gothic, Tim Burton-style of the movie also made it enjoyable for me. I've always liked his films. His are the only animated film that I'll willingly watch, like my favorite "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride". And "Edward Scissorhands", that film make me want to cry every time. I absolutely cannot wait for his 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'.
