*spoiler alert*

Just caught Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. It's was...meh. The Moreau character was funny, but he died, which was good. The rider keeps saving that lady's ass for the entire movie, I thought no one of importance to the story-line was going to die. Although Moreau wasn't actually important, but still. They should have just let that boy die, and Blaze would turn in the the Angel Of Justice because of guilt or something. The Carrigan character was cool, the power of decay. The way he died was stupid. The Rider in this movie barely did anything except having some sort of spasm then staring at a person while saying "I'm hungry" (which is really creepy) until he/she bursts into flames/dies. Granted, there were a few fight scenes, the part where he was driving the huge ass chainsaw-vehicle-thingy was my favorite part. Other than that, the movie was pretty much a bore. I do like the blue Ghost Rider though, much nicer than the normal one. Something that made me really disappointed was that they made the devil way to weak in the movie. He barely put up a fight at all! The lady was annoying as hell, useless too. She did nothing much to help, just tagging along.

In conclusion, Nicolas Cage also need to stop laughing like a lunatic.

*spoiler alert*

Just watched 'Chronicle' with my brother. I like it. It's funny, and serious at the end. It is actually a pretty accurate interpretation of what teenagers would do if they somehow manage to attain superpowers. Disrupting the public, hurting or killing people, both intentionally and unintentionally. It's just like how I'd imagine the world would be if people did have superpowers.

I like the main character, Andrew, because he went ape shit at the last part. I mean, the 'leave me alone, I'm a emo kid' thing was kind of irritating, but I get where he is coming from. The human race is kind of fucked up. I like how he was talking about how he liked peaceful places and by the end of the movie he killed at least ten people. Too sloppy though, he should have just killed the store owner when he was robbing him. Why leave him so he could get to his gun? Careless.

The Steve character was obviously set up to die. He had no connection with either of the main characters and contributed nothing except for humor. Which is good, but so obvious he was going to die. So obvious. They could have made it less obvious. I'm using obvious a lot.

The Matt character. I don't like him. He started the show being an jock/asshole and by the end of the movie he magically becomes a hero/nice guy? For a girl? Talk about cliche. The girl was totally irrelevant too. Her character served no purpose to the story line except to make it look like Matt was turning good because he wants to be with her. She was totally stand-offish during the entire movie so I have no idea why he likes her.

Overall, I loved the first half of the movie, because I love a good comedy. The second half not so good, predictable and draggy. Matt should have killed Andrew the minute he went crazy. Plus the effects were shit.

3/5 stars.
